MISSION STATEMENT

Tremblant's Finest Chalets Inc.(TFC Inc.) is a Laurentian based Property Rental Company, specializing in lodging accommodations from deluxe and contemporary to simple and rustic for those desiring a memorable visit to the Mont Tremblant area. TFC Inc. is a small privately owned company striving for achievement based on the quality of our rental properties and the personal service to our guests year round. Upon departure, we want our guests to have comfort in knowing that the next time a getaway to the Laurentians is being planned, the first thing to do is call Tremblant's Finest Chalets Inc. We will gladly provide any information on local attractions, skiing conditions, golf locations and events in the area, to assist our guests with any vacation to make your visit as carefree as possible.

CHALET AND CABIN INFORMATION

Chalets and cabins managed by TFC Inc. are privately owned properties. Each property varies in furnishings and decor according to the owners' individual tastes and needs. Our web site and brochures depict most of the amenities in each property. Please do not assume or take for granted that a rental property has everything that you require, for example: game rooms, irons and ironing boards. It is important to inquire about your specific needs at the time of reserving a particular property. Each chalet or cabin is equipped with basic amenities and are as follows:

  • Bed linens, pillows and  a starter supply of toilet paper are provided to meet the maximum occupancy of the rental unit (additional personal sundries is the guests' responsibility).
  • Refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, color TV and/or VCR, satellite or cable (the number of TVs and VCRs vary in each unit?please inquire), smoke alarms, basic pots and pans, flatware, utensils. Firewood for interior fires is provided to the guest during the months of November thru March. Wood for outdoor fires is the responsibility of the renter 

        TFC Inc. does not typically provide these items:

  • Daily maid service is not available and guests are expected to launder towels, linen, etc. as required during their stay. Not all rental units are  provided with a washer / dryer.
  • Charcoal, kindling or starter logs for wood burning fireplaces (do not use charcoal lighter fluid to start fires in fireplaces), irons and ironing boards, coffee, coffee filters, baby cribs, laundry detergent, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, condiments, spices or any kind of grocery items.

Not all of the chalets and cabins are decorated for the holidays. Guests are permitted to decorate for any occasion with artificial decorations. The guest is responsible for the disposal of any decorations that he or she brings in to the rental property or an extra charge will apply. Only artificial Christmas trees are permitted in the rental units.
The capacity of a rental unit is specified in the rental agreement. The number of individuals occupying a unit and parking capacity may not be exceeded. "Disturbing the Peace" or exceeding rental unit capacities will result in eviction and loss of security.
 
Once again please inquire if you have certain or specific needs when you are planning to rent a chalet or cabin.



Leave it as you found it.

Our housekeepers will be inspecting the chalets between 10am and 5pm. If all is found to be in order in the chalet, your security deposit will be returned by mail. It will be to your advantage to leave a clean and tidy chalet before your departure at 10am. Any time over 1.5 hours necessary to clean your chalet will be deducted from your security deposit. The charge will be $75/hr. Moved furniture must also be returned to its original location, or a mover's fee shall be charged. Items in chalets must stay in the chalets and are not to bbe moved outside or between chalets.

RESERVATIONS

If you are interested in renting a chalet, condo or cabin, or if you would like information on how to do so, please contact us (819)329-2306. Reservation requests can be made on line to check for availability at www.tremblantholiday.com. This does not confirm a reservation for you. It is simply to check for availability and to view TFC Inc. rental properties. You must contact TFC Inc. main office to confirm a reservation (819)329-2306. All reservations require a valid credit card to confirm a reservation and for the security of the rental property. After a reservation is made, TFC Inc. will email, to the guest, a written confirmation for the dates that have been reserved.  Rental policies and procedures can be found in detail on the website. The guest must read and understand the rules and regulations and acknowledge and agree to the rental agreement. If there are any questions, contact our main office. We would be glad to answer any questions that you may have. The registered guest is responsible for the rental unit. Thus, reading and acknowledging the rental policies and procedures insures a comfortable visit for our guests.
 
PAYMENT METHODS

TFC Inc. will accept payment by Visa, Master Card, Certified Check, Money order. Personal Checks are  accepted if received 1 month before rental. A nonrefundable 50% deposit is required in order to confirm a reservation, with the balance due 2 weeks prior to reserved date. All reservations require a valid credit card to confirm a reservation and plus a security deposit of $500 and $1000 for under 25 years of age.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
 
 
SECURITY DEPOSIT
The properties managed by TFC Inc. are privately owned  with a detailed list of inventory per home. To insure that the rental properties are well maintained and cared for by the guests, as a security deposit a min $500.00 hold, will be placed on the guest's credit card. The hold will apply for up to 10 days after departure. Once the rental property is inspected after departure, there are no damages, and the rental property is left in a respectable manner, the hold will be released by the guest's credit card company. This is simply a hold and not a charge. There will not be a refund displayed on the guest's credit card statement. In the event that there are damages exceeding the $500.00 hold deposit, the guest's credit card will be charged the full amount of damages, additional cleaning fees and administration time. If this should occur, a complete itemized list of charges will be emailed to the guest for review. Any dispute in the charges for damages must be sent in writing to TFC Inc. This is primarily a precaution due to past and recent events that have occurred, and is in no way a reflection upon future guests. It is simply a way to insure that all rental properties are well cared for. If you reserve a chalet and cancel we must find a replacement renter for your dates to receive a refund less $45 admin fee.

 
CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT
CHECK-IN:
TFC, Inc. begins check-in at 4:00 p.m. If you arrive early, you may have to wait, pending on the previous occupancy. Our cleaning crews work as diligently as possible to prepare a rental unit for the next guest.

CHECKOUT:
As it would be a pleasure having you as our guest, we must insist on an 11:00 a.m. checkout time. Please leave your unit in the same order as your arrival with the exception of linens. Dirty linens are to be placed in the bathroom floor or in the bathtub. All dishes and cookware must be washed and put away. An additional fee of $50.00 minimum will be charged to the guest if excessive cleaning is required. Interior and exterior lights, TVs, coffee pot and other appliances are to be turned off. In the summer, the central heat and air unit should be left on 25 degrees and in the winter at 12 degrees. Leave all doors and windows locked and all furnishings must be placed in there original positions.
 
GROUPS ARRIVING AT ALTERNATE TIMES:

A guest with parties arriving, at alternate times, is responsible for coordinating meeting times with their parties to insure that everyone arrives safely to their chalet. Keys are issued to only the guest that has a confirmed reservation with TFC, Inc. The number of guests allowed in the chalet is detemined at the time of the reservation. The guest number is
not to exceed the number diclosed by the renter at the time of the reservation. Failure to do so will result in additional charges or possible eviction.
 

TRASH REMOVAL
 
 Please ensure all trash is removed from the chalets and placed in the exterior trash bins. Black bins are regular and green bins are recycle only. Do not leave garbage outside in bags as you will have uninvited guests to deal with.


MAINTENANCE

TFC, Inc. and the property owners make every possible effort to insure that all of the rental properties are in good working order. It is impossible to guarantee that all appliances, hot water heaters, hot tubs, Jacuzzis, etc. will work 100% of the time. Unforeseeable mechanical errors will not be grounds for any refunds. We do guarantee to solve any non-emergency problems that may occur during normal business hours. To report any maintenance problems call the number provided in your special instructions, leave your name, unit name & number, and describe the problem that has occurred. TFC, Inc. reserves the right to perform any interior or exterior maintenance during your stay. You would be notified before hand to insure that your visit would not be inconvenienced what so ever. All rental units are sprayed and inspected on a regular basis for pest control. In the event of a major infestation, TFC, Inc. will contact our pest control agent and attempt to solve the problem.

 
HOT TUB SAFETY

All guests are responsible for the safety of the members of their party while occupying a rental unit. Hot tubs are for relaxation and not for bathing. Absolutely no soaps, bubble baths or pool toys are permitted in hot tubs! Hot tubs are not swimming pools and children must be monitored at all times during hot tub use. When not in use, the cover must be placed back on top of the hot tub and strapped down. Do not sit or stand on hot tub covers because they will break and a charge of $450.00 will apply to a guest if a cover is broken.
 


PET SECTION

No more than one pet (dogs)  (No cats ! no puppies or kittens) under 25lbs. are allowed in pet friendly units and only with prior written consent from TFC Inc. A pet fee of $50.00 will be charged and the guest assumes all responsibility financially for all damages by their pet. We are sorry, there are no exceptions for non-pet friendly units. If any evidence of a pet is found in a unit that is not pet friendly, a charge of $150.00 will be charged to the guest.
 


TELEPHONE AND INTERNET SERVICE

TFC Inc. rental properties are equipped with normal telephone service in most cases. In order to place a long distance call, a guest will need to call collect, use a calling card with an "800" access number or a credit card. If calls are charged to a rental unit phone, a $25.00 billing fee in addition to the cost of the call(s) made by the guest. To access the Internet, your Internet provider must have local Tremblant area access numbers. Please check with your Internet provider before leaving home.
 


LOST AND FOUND

TFC Inc. is not responsible for items left behind by any guest. If a guest feels that, he or she has left any items behind, contact our main office and we will make an effort to locate the missing items. If found, TFC Inc. will return the item(s) with a valid credit card. An admin charge may apply.
